Composition
In fall of 2023, I composed eight original songs for the Syracuse Stage Children's Tour production of Red Riding Hood by Allison Gregory. Under the direction of Katie McGerr, I created music that was reminiscent of Disney classics and was both easily digestible and enjoyable for young audiences. The following spring, I worked under director Celia Madeoy to compose three original songs for a production of The Droll at Syracuse Drama. I wrote a score that paid homage to the 80s British punk rock movement (an innovative and electric choice made by director Celia Madeoy), while still honoring the time period in which the play is set. As a composer, I am continually working on finding my own sound while still exploring genres I love.

Playwrighting
After being exposed to so many new works during my time at Syracuse, I began using any spare time I had to write my own stories. In 2023, I was selected as a finalist for ENOUGH! Plays To End Gun Violence, an organization and a cause I care deeply about. I am in the process of sharing more of my writing with the world, and through my exploration I have found a passion and interest in writing for Latinas. I hope to collaborate with other Latine theatermakers in an effort to continue amplifying underrepresented voices.

Music Direction
In the spring of 2022, I assisted composer and lyricist team Jude Obermüeller and David Gomez in a workshop of their original musical Miss Havisham's Wedding at Syracuse Drama. That experience made me catch the bug for wanting to work with team music and I have jumped at opportunities to do so ever since. The summer following, I worked for Kids On Stage Production as the music director for their summer production of Encanto, working with young actors ages 6-11. I served as an assistant music director at Syracuse University for the department's production of Head Over Heels, and I later crafted original arrangements of musical theater favorites for the drama department's "Ahrens and Flaherty Revue."
